Out walking and spotted this tree. This tree was nothing like the others, but EVERYTHING like the others. It's there for a purpose, it has a story. It's a bit used up, but it's STILL standing. This tree is unique and that's what is so mesmerizing about it. It's so common to find the beauty in the abnormalities in nature, if only it was more common in humanity.
As a young girl with flaws that were deemed unfit to be considered beautiful by societies standards, being confident had felt unattainable. Day after day there was at least one person who decided it was necessary to pick out my flaws for their very own entertainment. I felt broken, unworthy, and constantly wandered what I had done to deserve the pain.
Little did I know, it was only shaping me into the person I am today. And although not fully healed , I have grown out of the desire to please everyone. I have now grown to desire to attain love within my SELF. It will be an interesting journey I am sure, and I am ready for wherever it takes me.
It's so common for me to find the beauty in the abnormalities in nature, if only it was more common for me to find it within myself.
